Experience Authentic Japanese Culture in Kyoto
The authenticity of Japanese culture must be starting from Kyoto and with this tour, this is like a lesson 101 of an authentic Japanese culture. You get to learn how to prepare a Japanese green tea in a traditional manner as well as wearing Kimono. This tour will also take you to the city of Gion, where "Geisha" culture has been established.

PHILOSOPHER'S WALK Enjoy a tranquil stroll down Philosopher's Walk, a beautiful tree-lined walk along a canal.
TRADITIONAL TEA CEREMONY

Visit a tea house of "Kano-Shojuan" and enjoy tea ceremony in a serene atmosphere in the traditional style of Ura-Senke school.

*When Kano-Shojuan is closed, you will bisit Westin Miyako Hotel instead.
KANIKAKUNI Old district in Kyoto (scene of the story of "MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA")

Discover Gion
This neighborhood is full of traditional restaurants and teahouses, many of which are exclusive establishments for Geisha entertainment.
Enjoy seeing a display of kimonos and ornamental hairpins of Maiko & Geisha etc., view the history of Gion through the old photos of Maiko from the Meiji period to the present.

Guest can dress in a Maiko's kimono here.
